Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Anaheim, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Anaheim is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Anaheim follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The overall dining experience was underwhelming, as the food did not meet expectations. The only aspect I found satisfactory was the sticky rice with mango, which was mildly sweet and acceptable. However, there were notable lapses in service and cleanliness, including improperly cleaned silverware and glasses. While the single server was courteous, the manager’s behavior was unprofessional, making inappropriate jokes that detracted from the atmosphere. Given the costβ€”less than $300β€”and the overall experience, I do not intend to return.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. The Hainanese chicken was completely lacking in flavor and tasted nothing like authentic Hainanese chicken. The chicken rice was dry and blandβ€”it felt more like plain fried rice than the fragrant, moist chicken rice it should have been. The combo was supposed to come with a green papaya salad according to the menu, but instead we were served only cucumber and carrot, which was disappointing. The curry shrimp was probably the best dish we ordered. The shrimp were fresh, but the flavor was still just average. Overall, I left feeling disappointed. The atmosphere deserves praise, but the food simply didn’t live up to the expectations. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

Absolutely delicious from start to finish. Every dish was full of flavorβ€”the mango sticky rice was perfectly sweet, the stir-fried noodles were rich and satisfying, and the rice dishes were cooked just right. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. Great portions and a very enjoyable meal overall. Highly recommend!

First it’s such a beautiful vibe and atmosphere. I love the ambiance, the color, and the decor. Then, the waiter was very friendly and helpful with helping my find a great option. I got the pad Thai with fried tofu. It was really delicious but just a bit too sweet but I’d definitely get it again. Can’t wait to try more in the future.

We stopped here for a bite on our drive. We ordered the beef drunken noodles and pad gra pow (Thai basil chicken). Everything had good flavor and great presentation but the beef was a bit chewy and way too many bell peppers. The sauce on both dishes was too oily/greasy. The place is nice and the staff and service was good. Also ordered Earl Grey and Lemon Ginger teas. Both were from Stash and very good. They bring you a large teapot which was nice.
